SB: Cougars outslug Batesville

The hitters were on parade May 17 when the Cougars outslugged Batesville 14-10. Greenfield-Central scored five runs in the first inning and the score was 7-4 for the Cougars after just two innings. A four run sixth actually proved to be the margin of victory for the Cougars.

Greenfield-Central pounded out a whopping 17 hits on the day. The barrage was led by Olivia Darnhart who went 4 for 5 and drove in two runs. The squad is now 18-11 on the season.
