SB: Panthers open tourney by demolishing Winchester

The Panthers got their tourney run off on the right foot May 23 by blasting Winchester 15-2 in five innings. The Panthers plated six runs in the third inning to blow the game open. That was so much fun, they repeated the feat in the fourth to eliminate any doubt.

Lynsey Taylor went the distance allowing four hits and striking out four to get the win in the circle. Kelsey Hughes had the big bat for Elwood. She went 2 for 3 with two doubles and drove in three tunes.
