Northwood Wins 2 More

Northwood traveled west Saturday to play the first 2 games in a 3 game triangle with Delta and Bowsher @ Delta High School. Jake Pressley took his A game to the mound against the Delta Panthers in the 10 a.m. game. The Rangers built a 2 to 0 lead in the top of the third inning until Delta put up four runs in the bottom inning. In the fourth the Rangers scored 4 for themselves and the score stayed the same the rest of the way. Nick Russell, Tyler Johnson, and Evan Perkins all had 2 hits in the game and Pressley had a big double. With the bases loaded in the bottom of the 7^th and 1 out Pressley came through big by retiring the next two batters. In the 2^nd game against Bowsher Anthony Rorigi got the start and pitched 5 innings and only gave up 2 hits. Marc Canaday and Cameron Juhasz closed out the game against the Rebels. Justin Rohrs hit a 3 run homerun and Johnny Segura hit a double off the fence. Evan Perkins added 3 more hits to total 5 on the day. Northwood had 11 hits in each game. The Rangers are 10-1 and play their next game Monday May 2^nd @ Elmwood High School.
