Trojans blow past Tigers

MERIDIAN —     Northeast Lauderdale had no problems plating runs on Tuesday night as it blasted past county rival Southeast Lauderdale 22-1 at Northeast Park.

    Thara Hall led the Trojans going 4-for-4 from the platewith a triple, while Chelsea Ezell had three hits, including a double and home run. Kaytee Nelson was 3-for-4 with a double. Britny Baty and Lauren Myers each added three hits, while Karley Swearingen had two hits with a double.

    Swearingen earned the win for Northeast on the mound.

    The Trojans (2-2) travel to Enterprise on Saturday.
