Southeast Cheerleaders win 2nd place at State!

Saturday was a long day for our cheerleaders.  The girls competed in the semi-finals around 12:20pm.  Out of the 13 teams competing in the Medium Varsity division, 8 teams advanced.  Out of those 8, the Southeast cheerleaders were ranked 3rd.  3rd rank was not bad after dropping one stunt and having a major bobble in another. 

After a long wait, the girls competed in the finals at 7:40pm.  This time, there was one dropped stunt and some confusion in the dance as the music was not heard coming on.  However, the girls were very energetic and their efforts paid off as they received 2nd place!  Good job, girls!  We are very proud of you!

1st place went home with Lewisburg High School (a 4A school) and 3rd place went home with Purvis High School (a 4A school). 

Congratulations also to Northeast High School who won 2nd place in their Large Varsity Non Tumble division!
