BERNARD (10-3): Brittney Schaffers 24, Natalie Kelley 15, Kiki Meyer 4, Maria Mueller 2, Cathernine Gamble 2. VINEMONT (3-20): Breanna Rodgers 9, Bre Parker 6, Janie Foust 4, Caiitlyn Mefford 4, Christina Franks 4, Sydney Whittle 3. Vinemont led 12-11 aftar the first quarter then could not score from the floor in the second period and fell behind by a 20-13 halftime score. Schaffers and Kelley were a one-two punch for the Lady Saints that keyed a 15-6 run in the third period as the lead increased to 35-18. St. Bernard posted its sixth consecutive win to move to 10-3 on the season and Vinemont suffered its 20th loss of the year. The Lady Eagles came up short to the Lady Saints 46-40 last Thursday at Vinemont. Coach Lance Lay will have a couple of days to prepare for a two-game series with the Fairview Lady Aggies. Game one will be a Thursday regular season assignment at Vinemont and the second meeting will be next Monday in the opening round of the Cullman County Basketball Tournament at Wallace State's Tom Drake Coliseum.
