And So It Begins!!

  Warrior football is known for hard work and tenacity.  They have over the years made a reputation for themselves, "When We Come - We Come to Play Football - and When We Play - We Play to Win!  That's Warrior Football. This season is not going to be any different.  Third year starter middle linebacker, Kevin Omega Speight is ready for the season and the challenge.  Along with Devonta Lloyd and Mark Moore this year the Warriors look to rebound from a poor performance in last years playoffs.  Adding Marquaris Harris and Montrel Cherry, the Warrior defense is one to be recokoned with.  Outside linebacker, Morris Armstrong is strong mentally and physically and he looks it.  Yes this season is going to be great, and it will only get better. 

    The seasoned and veteran coaching staff has high expectations for the Warriors.  Indicating that, "when they transfer the practice field to the playing field we will be champions."  The challenge from the past still confronts them, they are small in size, but large in heart, and most play both ways.  Conditioning is the tough task, balancing the playing time on offense and defense will be key to another stellar year.

  "I am excited", stated Speight, Captain of the team, "we can do it, we got what it takes, we just have to work hard, play hard, and play together, that's Warrior Football."  If you want to see the toughness and the heart of the team, if you want to see their focus and desire, just come take a look into the eyes of the Warriors.  When you look you will see what I see, Warriors!!!!!!!!
