North Carolina Wesleyan College Team Camp

July 28th-August 1st
5:30-8:30

First day of tryouts begin with camp week.  Official practice will begin on August 4th from 6-8 p.m. for the first week with practice that Saturday, August 9th, from 8:30-10 a.m.  The week of August 11th will be the same with our preseason jamboree on August 12th, beginning at 5:30 p.m.  A complete calendar list of dates and times will be given the first week of workouts.  We, at this point, have 20 matches against high quality sides.  Most of them are ranked in thier classifications.  We will play in the Brittany and the Franklinton Tournaments this year; however, there are some changes that you must be aware of as these can change the eligibility of players.

1.  We no longer offer physicals for our athletes.  This must be obtained by you and you son(s).  Players may not train at all with the team until Coach McCarthy has the completed physical.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

2.  Verification that an athlete lives in the Northern Nash district or is cleared by the Board of Education to attend Northern Nash is vital.  A sportsmanship meeting will be held at Northern Nash to verify this.

3.  There is a possibility that we may have a JV Team with limited matches.  This will allow those who rarely play in their early years to get some much needed experience.  When not playing with the JV side, we will roster as many as can dress for the varsity.  All with train with the varsity side.

Lets make 2008 our season to excel and shatter every record in the book!
