J. Lawrence, D. Osborne, and C. Sturdifen led a very balanced Baron's attack with 16, 14, and 13 points, respectively. J Sturdifen and D. Davis posted 4 points each; while A. Osborne, N. Watson, and D. Mosley added 2 each. Rebounding and decent shot selection were keys to this win. The game was just what the Lady B's needed after suffering a 51-43 Tuesday night loss to a very active Randolph Henry Lady Statesmen team. In the RH game, Bluestone led at the end of the first, 9-6. But RH got their offense rolling in the second and by the half had a one point lead at, 20-19. The third quarter was tough offensively for the Lady B's as they were out-scored, 12-7. In the fourth the Barons got back on track scoring 17 points. But RH responded with some tough play and went on to score 19 points and the eventual 51-43 loss. D. Osborne led all scorers in the game with 19. Lawrence had 12 points. C. Sturdifen and J. Sturdifen had 8 and 4, in that order. RH was led by A. Pugh and K. Wilson with 10 points each. A. Roberts added 9 and A. Bowman had 8 points. The Lady barons will play Central of Lunenburg on Friday in an away match. The Lady B's are 1-1 in early season action.
