Lady Barons named to Southside All-District teams

Carmen Sturdifen, a sophmore, was named to the first team. Carmen was a solid player for the Lady B's all season and her net play (blocks and kills) were the key to several Lady B's victories this season. Her back court game also improved greatly as the seson progressed.

Senior, Jasmine Sturdifen; Carmen's sister and the Lady B's only returning starter from last season, was named to the second team.

Amy Hamlet, another senior, was named honorable mention.

1st on the team in Dig %- .77-Received 324 of 419 with a 3 rating
1st on the team in kill % - .25-295 kills with only 90 errors and 822 attempts
1st on the team in blocks- 61 solo blocks
2nd on the team in Serve Receive- .69-197 of 296

Jasmine Sturdifen:
1st on the team in assist- .23 181 of 771
2nd on the team in kill %- .15-132 kills with 59 errors and 480 attempts
2nd on team in blocks

Amy Hamlett:
1st on the team in Serving efficiency -52
1st on the team in Serving Ace %- .21
1st on the team in Serve Receive %- .78-Received 242 of 312 balls with a 3 rating
2nd on the team in Dig %- .78-Received 344 of 456 with a 3 rating
