The Eagles, coming off a 69-37 win against Trinity on Tuesday, have another road test tonight against New Life Academy at 7:30 pm. New Life, coming off a 74-59 loss against West Lutheran, are primed and ready to give Heritage a run for their money. "New life is a gritty hardnosed team who looks to beat teams by creating pressure and hitting outside shots." says assistant coach Stew Herman "every year is a battle with them so we hope can change that this time around and start playing some better ball."

New Life is led in scoring by "5-11" senior guard Cameron Duffy with 11.4 points per game with a season high of 25 points against Barnam. New Life is a very balanced team with 5 players average over eight points per game(Cameron Duffy 11.4, Conrad Engstrom 10.7, John Horner 9.7, Sam Horner 8.4, Zach Prefer 8.1). New Life averages a total of 66.3 points per game while they give up an average of 68 points per game. This is a rematch of last years MCAA fifth place game in which Heritage defeated New Life by a score of 74-62. In that game, the Eagles had trouble containing John Horner who had 18 points in the game. They will need to shut him down tonight in order to get the victory

New Life will not be a push over. New Life has defeated a number of teams that have given Heritage fits this year such as St. Croix Lutheran and Legacy. This game should go down to the wire and will be a tough road test for the number six ranked Heritage Eagles.
