LHS girls softball hosts SPASH, start time 4:30 pm.
LHS boys tennis travels to SPASH, start time 4:00 pm.

Other stuff:
Newly signed Packers DE Anthony Hargrove admitted to the NFL in April that he was part of the bounty system, and that coaches Joe Vitt and Greg Williams told him to deny all allegations to the NFL. Not such a smart move by Mr. Hargrove. Throwing your coaches under the bus at the same time giving the NFL proof you were involved. Let’s hope he plays smarter on Sundays.
Guillermo Mota of the SF Giants was suspended 100 games by MLB for failing his third drug test. Some guys just do not get it.
The Jets announced plans on using Tim Tebow on special teams. I get it. Why not.
The Vikings last chance to get funds for a stadium was in the Minnesota House yesterday. Both parties agreed to a new bill. One can only wonder what happens up there in the land of 10,000 lakes.
Ryan Longwell got cut by the Vikings yesterday. “Long right” just did not have the leg strength as the Vikings turn to unproven 6th round draft choice Blair Walsh.
Alex Gonzalez is out for the year after tearing his ACL, and is the third Brewer to be lost for the season joining Mat Gamel, and Chris Narveson. Tough, tough break for the Crew. Like it or not it’s Cesar Izturis time.
It is Homer Bailey versus Yovani Gallardo at Miller park tonight, game time 7:00 pm. Bailey is 0-3 with a 5.63 era in his career against the Brewers.
I do not get all the fuss about the Phillies Cole Hamels admitting that he threw at Nationals phenom Bryce Harper on purpose. Old school baseball. I get the 5 game suspension, but for a starting pitcher that means nothing.
