LADY MUSTANGS LACROSSE UPDATE

The Myers Park girls' Varsity lacrosse team entered the state playoffs seeded fourth in the state.  In the first round of the state tournament, the Lady Mustangs beat Providence High School 15-9.  Moving into the second round Myers Park took on fifth seeded Green Hope but was unable to overcome a strong offensive play by Green Hope 12-18.  The Lady Mustangs end their season 13-4 with their highest end of season ranking and state tournament seeding ever!  Post season honors for the Lady Mustangs are beginning to roll in:

• Invitation to play in the NC All Stars Game: Ashley Zwier
• NC Western Conference All-Conference Team: Carly Elliot, Ashley Zwier, Katie Zwier, Mary Ellen Goode, Cate Auerbach, Mallie Salerno and Abigail Harris.
• Invitation to play in Charlotte Lacrosse Boosters All-Star Game:  Emily Caldwell
