Lady Mustangs Defeat Providence in OT

Tuesday night, the Lady Mustangs beat Providence in OT by 1 point. This was only the second conference win of the season. The crowd was really in to the game and gave the girls a lot of encouragement. Tiffani Stephens was the leading scorer with 14 points. She also had 6 rebounds, 5 blocked shots, and 4 steals. Rebecca Raffler, who has been out for a while with an injury, had 8 points that came at key times and helped send the game in to overtime. Shaquana Jackson pulled down 13 rebounds and played great defense. Nicole Iacopetti made 5 assists, got 5 rebounds and 4 steals. The girls host South Meck tonight and will play in the conference tournament next week. Hope to see you there!!! |
