Clarion wins again

FOXBURG - Clarion's Brittany Hanlon notched 41 assists and six points to lead the Bobcats to a 25-9, 25-17, 25-19 win over homestanding A-C Valley in a KSAC volleyball clash Oct. 22.

Dani Fleeger added 13 kills for Clarion while Brooke Bailey added 12 kills, 10 points and six digs. Tiffany Smathers added 15 points and 14 digs while Hannah Ray posted eight kills.

The Falcons were led by Kelsey Boocks who had 13 blocks and three kills while Samantha Kerlin posted 12 blocks, five points and three kills.

The win secures sole possession of second place in the KSAC with a 10-1 record. The Bobcats have a 10-3 mark overall on the season.

A-C Valley drops to 11-2 on the season with the loss.
