Emily was a five-year starter for the Woodbury Varsity team and a 2008 graduate of Woodbury High School.  She received All-State Honorable Mention honors, was named All-Conference for four years, and was Woodbury's Honor Athlete in her last year.  During the summers, she played for the MN Ice Cats select team.  In college, she played for the nationally-ranked Golden Gusties of Gustavus Adolphus and also ran track and field.  Emily graduated in 2012 with a double major in honors psychology and Spanish.  She was a counselor and coach at both the Dave Peterson Goalie Camp and the Junior Fest and participated in many camps, tournaments and training programs throughout her time as a player.

She is now serving for a year as an AmeriCorps volunteer in a school in downtown Saint Paul working with at-risk middle school students.  She hopes to attend graduate school for social work next year.  She is extremely excited to be back in Bielenberg and working with the East Ridge girls!
