Brittany Simmons
My name is Brittany Simmons and I am the new Head Coach for East Ridge High School. I am originially from northern Minnesota, but moved to the Twin Cities in 2001. I first started gymnastics at the age of 3 at Mini Hops in Minnetonka. At level 6, I switched to Classic Gymnastics in Eden Prairie. I started competing high school gymnastics in seventh grade and continued until I graduated. In college, I participated in diving for Hamline University. I have been coaching gymnastics for 5 years now. I started coaching during the off-season of high school by helping our Junior High School team and went on to teach gymnastics at The Little Gym. I have also done coaching with Minnetonka's community ed program, high school and MGGA team. I am extremely excited for this season at East Ridge. We have a great group of talented girls and I can't wait to see all of them excel!
