East Ridge High School Fall athletics registration will take place

Tuesday July 24 and Wednesday July 25

from 4:00-8:00PM each day.

ERHS fall athletics registration information is currently posted online.  Directions, dates, forms, and other information are available.

Please note that while all forms are available to print from the webpage, and payment may be made online, the entire registration process is not virtual and requires that all forms must be submitted in-person to the Activities Office.  

Please use the “Main Entry” at ERHS, not the Activities Entry.

Payments can also be made in-person at the District office.  If you bring a check at the time of registration, you must have a check for each athlete you are registering, and cash or credit cards are not accepted.  Pay online!

Additional tips:

IF YOU CANNOT MAKE THE 7/24 or 7/25 DATES, you have two options: 

If you are confident that you have properly and completely completed and provided all of the necessary forms, you can have someone else deliver your forms during the initial registration period – find a friend that might already be making the trek up to complete the process.  Double check for all of the required signatures, fees are paid appropriately, and that your physical forms are within dates (see below).

There will be a single Late Registration opportunity: Tuesday, August 7 from 7 AM-10 AM at the Athletics Office

Sports Physical Tips: 

Physicals are required to be a “Sports Qualifying Physical Exam” and they must have a doctor’s signature.  Sports qualifying physicals are posted on the Athletics Office website for your convenience if needed.    They are good for 3 years from the date of the exam.

Note:  If your exam expires during the season (August - November) you will need to have an updated physical on file to remain eligible.  You will be allowed to register with an exam date that expires during the season, but you MUST schedule an updated schedule prior to the expiration date of your previous exam.  To prevent problems, we highly recommend that you get an updated exam taken care of now.

If you are uncertain of the date your child's most recent sports physical, you can check the districts records by logging into Parent Portal.  Once you have your son's record pulled up, click on the Health tab on the left side of the page and the date will be listed on the bottom of the page underneath the immunizations.  

If you are a current ISD 833 middle school student, physical dates and forms will transfer to the Athletics and Nurse’s office at East Ridge.   

If you are new to ISD 833, please obtain a current physical and submit it at the time of registration.   

Please double-check your last physical date and DO NOT WAIT until the day before registration to get a physical as you may find it difficult to get the signatures or even schedule the exam - many people wait until the last moment. Your son will not be allowed to practice without the physical forms completed, so don’t mess around and put him through missing the excitement of opening day -  If in doubt, download the form and get an up to date physical taken care of now.
