sections, meeting, banquet...

Nice work to everyone at the section meet.  There are some very competitive runners out there and the team ran tough.  For most cross country runners, this was the last meet.  Thanks for another good season. We, Coach Ness and Coach Gramer,  really saw runners having a strong work ethic and bringing all the strategy, and technique, together for a fine post season.  Congrats to the girls’ V team for a Section runner up finish, earning a trip to state next week!  Congrats to the girls’ JV team for winning the meet!  Finally, congrats to everyone for the great improvement this year!

The state meet is on Nov. 5th.  This year AA goes first. So, the girls race at 10am.  We do have one bus. This bus leaves at 7:30am.  For those who would like to ride on the bus and cheer them on at the meet, please let us know on Monday.

Speaking of Monday, we have a final team meeting at 3:30 in the cafeteria at ERHS.  It will probably be done by 4pm.  Voting ballots (handed out there), Surveys (also handed out there), captain speeches (and papers), and letter forms are all due on this day.  Also, BANQUET FORMS ARE DUE!See you there.

Thanks again for another fine season with success on and off the race course.  Like I've always said before-- I still really believe that true success is measured by what we learn from the highs and lows and how we use that to become better people.
