Hatley's Lady Tigers were 4.6 seconds away from the title game of the Division 2-3A tournament after Katie Beth Worthy sank a pair of free throws for a 56-55 lead.
Olivia Beene though beat the buzzer for Baldwyn in a 57-56 win.
Ayana Ragin scored 25 for Baldwyn. Worthy had 20. Lauren Sloan had 17 in the loss.
New Site and Baldwyn face off in the title game tonight at 7 p.m. in Baldwyn.
Hatley will face Hamilton in the consolation game at 4 p.m.
(B) East Union 73 Hamilton 66
Hamilton took a 52-51 lead into the fourth quarter but couldn't keep it despite Zarrat Sims' game-high 23 points. In the loss, Demetrice Trimble had 13, Quinshay Heard and Ben Seely 10 each.
For East Union, Trey Brakley led the way with 16 points. Badel Rucker had 13 and Chris Tables 11..
East Union and Baldwyn meet for the tournament championship at 8:30 p.m.
Hamilton will face Okolona at 5:30 p.m.
(G) New Site 73 Hamilton 13
The girls No. 1 seed New Site showed off an ultra-stingy defense in this semifinal matchup with a 75-13 win against Hamilton.
New Site led 50-5 at the half.
With balanced scoring, Shelby Stricklen and Grave Elliot scored 10 each to lead New Site (23-4).
