Lady Eagle Tennis Advances in State Tournament

The Ware Magnet Lady Eagles defeated Pacelli Catholic 5-0 in the first round of the GHSA Class A State Tennis Tournament played in Tifton at the ABAC Tennis Center. In Singles play, Kalie Douberly won 6-1, 6-2. Holly Lee cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory and Shelly Gibson won 6-1, 6-0. In doubles, Drew Christopher and Sara Adamson teamed up to win 6-0, 6-1 and Alicia Raines and Giavanna Reeves coasted to a 6-3, 6-1 win. The Lady Eagles advance to the Sweet 16 for the 8th straight year. |
