Eagles Win Region 1A Golf Championship

Ware Magnet School


The Ware Magnet Eagles battled their competition and 25 mph wind gusts to claim the 2007 Region 1A Golf Championship played in Waycross at The Lakes by Laura Walker Golf Course.  The Eagles finished with a team total of 365.  Bacon Co. was Region Runner-up with a team score of 370.  Carson Coleman won Region Low Medalist honors for the Eagles  Ware Magnet will now compete in the Class A State Championship in Columbus on May 7.
