Lady Eagles Defeat Echols in Region Softball Play

The Ware Magnet Lady Eagle softball team defeated Echols Co 7-1 in Statenville today.  The Lady Eagles improved to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in Region 1A East.  Freshmen pitcher Savannah Welch struck out 15 batters and Erin Rozier hit a three run home run.  Ware Magnet will travel to Baconton on Saturday, August 22, to play in the Blazer Blast softball tournament.
