VHCA boys open season at home

  Norwich - The Crusader boys opened the season playing the Oswego Royals at Weiler Park Friday, September 11th.  Luke Halberg scored three first period goals at 28:28, 23:04 and 10:02 assisted by Andrew Hunt, Reid Rose and Justin Miller.  Justin scored at 17:51 and andrew at 3:07 both assisted by Luke.  Ryan Chartrand scored the Royals lone first half goal at 9:48.  Second half goals were scored by Luke at 29:06 assisted by Ryan Rose.  Ryan then netted a goal at 22:02 when Luke took the ball deep and fed it back to Ryan coming down the slot.  Chartrand scored again for the Royals at 18:45.  Justin scored at 17:15 when headed in a shot by Luke.  Brennen Lawton neted a goal for VHCA at 16:42 assisted by Luke.  Reid Rose closed out the scoring at 5:26 taking a shot straight on from the top of the 18 yard box.  Making the final score 10-2 VHCA.
