Krista Baxter limited visiting Walton to two hits and one walk while striking out seven in Downsville's non-league victory. Katelynn Peaster hit a two-run single in the fourth inning that gave the Eagles a 6-3 lead. Peaster finished 2-for-3 with three RBIs and four runs. Downsville improved to (3-0). Walton's Holley Reynolds went 1-for-2 and scored twice.
