OFY Athletics Cancelled for 2009-10 Year Due to State Financial Crisis

It is with deep sadness that I am sending you this message to inform you that Options For Youth Inland Empire Wolfpack Athletics will not be participating in athletics or the IECAL league for the 2009-10 school year.  Due to the state financial crisis we have been forced to make deep financial cuts that have affected not only staff members but all extra-curricular programs such as athletics at OFY on a companywide scale.  It is my hope that we will once again have an athletic program competing in the IECAL league in the near future when and if we are able to weather this financial crisis.  It has been a pleasure working with all of you as coaches, student athletes, parents, supporters, fans, vendors, community organizations, referees, partners, and competitors on the athletic fields and courts the past two years.  We feel like we were on the road to building a great athletics program for our at-risk student population at OFY and hopefully we are able to get back on that road again someday in the near future.  If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact me by e-mail or at the phone number below.
