| Marcus Stroud profile “We have a lot of good athletes,” said Stroud. “We have a lot of good players returning in the secondary. " We have like six first team all district players, two second team all district player and an honorable mention all district player returning. “We have a big offensive line and one of the best quarterbacks in the state, so I feel like we’re going to be good this year.” Marcus is anxious to show what he can do at a new position this fall. He believes the move will help him make the transition to the college level. “A lot of schools have told me that they want me to play some outside linebacker,’” said Stroud. “In was about 6-2, 195, but I have been on about 15 to 20 pounds. “I played defensive end last season and I was really undersized. Now that I have been to some camps and played some at safety and linebacker, schools want to see highlights of my first few games before they offer me.” The time on the road has been good for the Proper High standout. “I have been to Stanford and I have been to Rice. I am about to go to LSU and I have been to Texas and Texas Tech.” said Marcus. “I am anxious to show everywhat I cabody n do this sason.” |
