SR. BOBCATS CLAW THEIR WAY TO ANOTHER VICTORY!!

The Sr. Bobcats clawed their way to another victory on Tuesday night by taming the Tigers of Lead Hill.

The Bobcats held a slim 9-8 lead at the end of the first quarter.  Battling foul trouble the Bobcats put together a 11-0 run in the second quarter to take a 27-14 lead into the dressing room at halftime.

The third quarter was played at a 8-8 tie and the Bobcats led by 13 points going into the final quarter.  Fighting off the Tigers down the wire,  the Bobcats went 12-16 from the free throw line to seal the hard fought victory.  The final score was 54-46.

Dillon Hargrove scored 15 first half points and finished with 17 points on 7-9 shooting from the field. 
Colbie Butcher finished with 9 points including 6-6 from the free throw line in the last quarter. 
Jared Lancaster scored 10 points including 6 points in the third quarter.
Austin Jefferson had 9 points despite fouling out in the fourth quarter.
Austin Tilley scored 6 points including a big layup late in the game to help seal the victory.
Eli Barrow went 3-4 from the line in the final three minutes to help keep the lead for the Bobcats.

Austin Jefferson cleaned the boards with 10 rebounds.  Dillon Hargrove, Jared Lancaster and Eli Barrow each finished with 6 boards each.

Colbie Butcher dished out 6 assists to lead the team.
Jared Lancaster and Eli Barrow recorded 3 steals each.
Jared Lancaster and Colbie Butcher had 3 big swats to lead the team in blocks.

Dean Anderson did an outstanding job on the defensive end, but was burdened with foul trouble most of the night.

The Sr. Bobcats improved their record to 6-0 on the season and looking forward to playing in front of the home crowd on Friday vs St. Joe on Homecoming Night.  Come Support the BOBCATS!!!!
