SR. LADY BOBCATS WIN OT THRILLER!!!

November 2, 2009
Flippin High School

The Sr. Lady Bobcats completed this years Twin Lakes Classic appearance on Saturday night by dropping a hard fought contest to Melbourne by a score of 53 to 40.  The Lady Bobcats experienced a cold offensive night shooting only 26% from the field.
Flippin shot a very good 76% from the free throw line and played some outstanding defense against one of the better teams in the state in class AAA.

On Tuesday night, the Lady Bobcats brought their record to 2 wins against 2 losses as they defeated the Lady Patriots from Bruno-Pyatt by a score of 53 to 24.  Again the defense of the Lady Bobcats was very intense as they begin to make a name for themselves as a very aggressive and very effective defensive team.  The scores for the Lady Bobcats included, 12 points by Junior forward Kelsey Jensen, 8 points by Sr. forward Brittany Crisenbery, six points each by Sophs. Alex Stubenfoll and Demi Hargrove, 5 points from Sr. forward Casey Massey, 4 points each from Sophs. Courtney Massey and Kiley Morris and Sr. Kayla Gussy.  Taylor Edmonson and Kaelyn Butcher also scored while Lindsey Matthews and Stephanie Beaver did not score but logged playing time.

The Sr. Lady Bobcats will try to move above the 500 mark on the season Friday night as they travel to I.C.C. for a non conference game.  Game time will be 5:30 with the Jr. Lady Bobcats and the Sr. Bobcats also playing.
