THE WEEK IN REVIEW-VARSITY RECAP BY JOHN FINLAY

Check out Coach Finlay's recap on the website later this week..

The scouting report on Blair Oaks
Tonight's game marks the tenth meeting between CHS and Blair Oaks and the
fourth consecutive playoff meeting between the two schools. The Falcons enter
this evenings game with a record of 9-2. Blair Oaks has victories over
Moberly, School of the Osage, California, Versailles, Eldon, South Callaway,
Hallsville, Southern Boone and Wright City. The Falcons had early season losses
to Owensville and Warsaw. Blair Oaks is coached by Brad Drehle, who in my
opinion is one of the finest coaches at any level in Missouri.

Blair Oaks is led offensively by senior running back Tim Otto. The 190 lb. ball
carrier is a bull with the ball. In the passing game the Falcons rely on the arm
strength of quarterback Anthony Clutts and receiver Josh Linnenbrink. For us
to succeed defensively we must, limit Blair Oaks success in their option game
and take Linnenbrink out of the equation in the pass department.

Defensively Blair Oaks will operate out of a 3-3 look. The Falcons operate
behind a huge defensive line led by senior defensive lineman Shawn Alexander.
Senior middle linebacker Dustin Davis leads the Falcon tacklers. For us to find
Success on offense we must be able to block the falcon down three
consistently and limit our offensive miscues.

This should be one of the best games in the state to watch! Hope to see you
there!
