"We tried to get (the ball) into the teeth of the defense, but we weren't strong when we penetrated," Bulldogs head coach Jason Harrell said. "We committed turnovers when we were trying to get in gaps, and then we weren't moving without the ball." Senior forward Corry Adams and junior guard Bryan Lechner supplied 10 points apiece for South Callaway. "At some point, we have to step up and make basketball plays," Harrell said. "We're not there as a unit." Cody Beyers paced Tipton with a game-high 13 points, followed by Chris Bracht with 11 and Seth Hirst with 10. The Bulldogs play an MMC home game against Hallsville at 7:30 p.m. Friday. South Callaway defeated the Indians 60-51 at Hallsville on Dec. 15.
