MISHAWAKA -- Riley's Brock Cosey stood at the free-throw line after two straight clankers and zeros on the clock.

The overtime period had ended while his halfcourt heave was in the air and bounced away from the basket.

But he was fouled by Penn's Jordan Geist as he took the shot and was awarded three free throws. Much to the dismay to the Riley faithful, he needed all three to win the game.

As the third free throw fell through the net for a 68-67 Northern Indiana Conference victory, both crowds erupted -- the Riley fans rejoicing and the Penn fans continuing to boo the referee's call.

With all the ruckus surrounding him, Cosey insisted he didn't feel the pressure.

"I just stayed positive," said Cosey, who finished with a game-high 21 points. "Even though I was missing, I just knew I was going to hit at least one of them. That's what I was focused on."

When Cosey declared he didn't feel pressure, Riley head coach Mark Johnson knew better.
