Minnesota Preps "Player of the Week" - February 28, 2011

We're heading to the big city this week for the final regular season Minnesota Preps "Player of the Week" award.  Congratulations to Minneapolis Washburn senior guard Clarence Thomas on stepping up when it mattered most.  He poured in 30 points in an 84-73 victory over Minneapolis North to secure the City Conference title with an 11-1 record.  Then Clarence scored 18 points in an 85-80 upset win over #1 (3A) St. Paul Johnson in the annual Twin Cities Game.  The Millers (#5 - 3A) defeated Mound-Westonka 106-80 in their first section game and will face Waconia on Saturday, March 12^th.
