Ryle beat Conner 6-3 in the 33rd District final May 24. Ryle won its seventh district title in the last eight years and will look to keep the exact run of success going in the Ninth Region tourney. Ryle has won six of seven regional titles since 2005.

Ryle enters the regional with an 18-13 record, Conner is 26-11.

Ali Crupper, Ryle’s pitcher, was tournament most valuable player. Kelsey Hammes had three walks and an RBI single. Haylee Smith had an RBI single as well.

For Conner, Katelynn Halcomb had two hits including an RBI single, and senior Ellery Kring drove in a run on sacrifice fly.
