RUSKIN FOOTBALL TEAM VISITING CHIEFS TRAINING CAMP AUG 11
For the Ruskin High School football team and coaches, Wednesday, Aug. 11 will be a ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ opportunity to go ‘behind the scenes’ at training camp. The Kansas City Chiefs invited the team to their morning practice from 8:50 to 11 a.m. at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.
Chiefs officials will escort the team to Spratt Memorial Stadium and then to an exclusive VIP tent where they will watch how an NFL team prepares for a new season.
“This is an incredible opportunity for our players to see just how much work and dedication it takes if you want to be successful on the football field,” said Greg Valenzuela, Ruskin’s head football coach. “I think they’ll really benefit from the experience.”
