 Track Points Racing Series at Rum River BMX in 2012

Rum River BMX Association is proud to announce the Local Track Points Racing Series will be back for 2012 proudly sponsor'd by "Northern Hideaway Homes" of Cambridge MN. The idea is simple...we want to reward the riders who race with us for the series. There are no special forms to fill out...just racing with us makes you eligible.

National Age Group (NAG) riders who call Rum River BMX home will not be eligible for the local series but will be receiving a special Rum River BMX award to be presented at the awards cerimony.

The rules are simple; all riders racing at Rum River BMX single point races between September 1st and Our last October scheduled race will receive Local Track Series points based off the 2012 USABMX State Championship points table. Point accumulation will be kept up-to-date by the Series coordinator and posted weekly on this website, at the track, at the Series' sponsors.  There are 8 possible races in the series and the top 6 scores will count toward the local track series.

Series awards will be presented this year at the Rum River Fall celebration that will be held after the racing season.

Top 8 Girl riders  

Top 8 Cruiser riders

Top 30 Class riders (Novice, Intermediate, Expert all combined)

The 2012 awards being presented through the sponsorship program are as follows: The Number One (Track Champion) rider in the girls, cruiser, and combined classes will receive a custom Rum River BMX Track Champion jersey & a custom championship commemorative number plate! The 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th place riders in the girls and cruiser class along with the 2^nd through 10^th place in the combined divisions will receive a custom Rum River BMX track championship series sweatshirt along with a commemorative number plate.  The balance of the award recipients will receive a special Rum River BMX track series commemorative number plate.  Pictures of the awards will be posted as they become available.
