Lafayette Central Catholic 58, Rossville 52

Rossville gave Class A No. 10 Lafayette Central Catholic all it could handle before holding off the Hornets, 58-52, on Friday night. Michael Gregorash led the Hornets (10-10) with 16 points. Austin Miller scored 10 points, James Baker nine points, Ethan Brenneman eight points, Brandon Tonsoni five points and Clayton Howard four points.

Tonsoni, the county’s leading scorer, was held to 1 of 7 shooting.

For LCC, Andrew Hubertz scored 18 points, Timmy Mills 17 points and Jake Churchill 13 points.

Tri-Central 66, Clinton Prairie 61 (OT)

Tri-Central outscored Clinton Prairie, 11-6, in the extra period to defeat the Gophers, 66-61, in overtime on Friday.

Kale Morris led four Gophers in double figures with 16 points. Austin Martin scored 13 points, Tanner Forsythe 12 points and Ryan Walker 11 points. Martin chalked up eight rebounds and Walker seven.

Kolby Thomas led Tri-Central with 20 points. Clay Smith scored 17 points and Garrett Dick 10 points.
