Attica 87, Clinton Central 63
Attica broke open a four-point game in the fourth quarter, outscoring Clinton Central 29-9 to defeat the Bulldogs, 87-63, on Friday. Jake Burton led the Bulldogs (1-12) with 19 points. Cole Simmons and Lane McCoy were also in double figures with 13 and 12 points, respectively, for CC.
Attica won the JV game, 49-30. For Central, Tristan Knox scored 10 points and Lewis Reynolds, Austin Merrill and Camden Morris scored five points apiece.
Tri-County 57, Rossville 54
Tri-County’s Kyle Miller hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer to help the Cavaliers defeat Rossville, 57-54, on Friday night.
Brandon Tonsoni led the Hornets (8-7) with 17 points. Michael Gregorash and Ethan Brenneman scored eight points each for Rossville.
University 60, Clinton Prairie 41
University outscored Clinton Prairie 23-11 in the first quarter and never gave up the lead in defeating the Gophers, 60-41, on Friday night.
Austin Martin led Prairie (2-11) with 12 points. Kale Morris and Tanner Forsythe scored eight points each, and Ryan Walker chipped in seven points. Walker led the Gophers with six rebounds and two blocks. Morris and Merrick McGraw each finished with five rebounds.
For University, Kevin Bates scored 15 points, Dominic Dixon 14 points and Anthony Maranto 11 points.
