GIRLS’ BASKETBALL
Frontier 39, Rossville 30
Rossville gave Class A No. 4 Frontier a scare on Thursday, but the Hornets couldn’t finish the job in losing 39-30. Hannah Alling led the Hornets (2-13) with nine points. Michaela Miller scored seven points, Brittyn Oliver five points, Emily Virtue-Gamblin four points, Lindsay Fife three points and Danielle Memmer two points.
Harrison 60, Clinton Prairie 43
Clinton Prairie lost to Harrison, 60-43, on Thursday. Madison Douglass led the Gophers (10-6) with 15 points. Kelsey Dunham scored 11 points, Abby Clark nine points, Jasmine Hanna seven points and Stephanie Schrock one point.
Harrison also won the junior varsity game, 31-14. Ivve Weflen scored five points, Kayla Pearson four points, Lyndsay Lehr two points, Mallorie Humrickhouse two points and Taylor Davis one point.
Southmont 71, Frankfort 39
Frankfort was held to 10 second-half points in a 71-39 loss to Southmont on Thursday. Alexa McKinsey led the Mounties with 25 points and 23 rebounds.
The Hot Dogs are now 3-14 overall, and 0-5 in the Sagamore Athletic Conference.
8th GRADE BASKETBALL
Tri-West 70, Frankfort 34
Frankfort fell to Tri-West, 70-34, in the first round of the Sagamore Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday. Carter Taylor scored 12 points, Austin Hernandez eight points, and Oscar Conde and Griffin Harris had five points each. The Hot Dogs are now 6-8.
