Keri Friend (Rossville) – Ancilla College
Ancilla’s season came to an end on Nov. 3 in a 3-1 loss to Vincennes University in the National Junior College Athletic Association District F Tournament. The Chargers lost their first game to Sinclair College, 3-0, on Nov. 2 and then beat Jackson Community College, 3-1, earlier in the day on Nov. 3 to get to the Vincennes match.
Ancilla finished with a 20-16 record.
Friend played in every set this season, finishing with a team-leading 404 digs (3.5/set) and added 92 kills (0.8/set), 34 assists, 19 aces and 13 blocks.
Hadley Orr (Clinton Central) – Michigan State University
Orr played in one set in the Spartans’ 3-0 win over Iowa University on Nov. 2, tallying one dig.
Natasha Greenwood (Frankfort) – Indiana Wesleyan University
Greenwood helped the Wildcats finish third out of 10 teams at the Crossroads Invitational on the campus of Taylor University on Nov. 3. Greenwood placed 32nd out of 133 runners with a time of 19 minutes, 52 seconds in the 5K.
Aaron Martin (Rossville) – Indiana Wesleyan University
Martin had three points, two rebounds, an assist and a block in Indiana Wesleyan’s 72-48 victory over Purdue-North Central on Nov. 2. He followed that up with a team-high 16 points and five rebounds in a 65-55 win over Davenport on Nov. 3.
