North White 3, Clinton Prairie 2
Clinton Prairie tied or set three school records in its 3-2 loss to North White (25-18, 20-25, 26-24, 8-25, 15-12) on Monday. The Gophers (7-24) set the mark for most digs in a match (103) and tied the record for most kills (55), while senior setter Jasmine Hanna tied the school record for most assists in a match (47) for the second time in her career.
Jade Mulvaney led CP with 15 kills with Spencer Perkins adding 12, Abby Clark 11 and Mallorie Humrickhouse 10. Perkins led with 26 digs, Clark had 19 and Hanna had 17. Clark also led the team with four blocks.
The Gophers won the JV match, 2-1 (25-17, 15-25, 15-10). Stephanie Blubaugh had four kills and eight digs, Rachel Jackson two kills and three aces, Lyndsay Lehr two aces, Hailie Wilson two aces, Reagan Stroup eight assists, Isabel Coons five digs and Miranda Robertson five digs.
Rossville 3, Tipton 2
Class A No. 8 Rossville survived an upset bid at the hands of Tipton on Monday, defeating the Blue Devils, 3-2 (25-23, 25-18, 20-25, 16-25, 15-12). Brinsley Cooper led the Hornets (22-7) with 23 kills and 17 blocks, with Emily Martin adding 14 kills and Mattie McGill seven kills.
Martin led the Hornets with 19 digs as Kacie McGill and Mattie McGill had 13 digs each and Cooper 12. Kacie McGill led with 23 assists and Michaela Miller chipped in 13. Kacie McGill had nine blocks, Miller eight and Carrie Fiddler six.
Rossville won the JV match, 2-0 (25-17, 25-16) to advance to 2-0 on the season. Lauren bright had six kills and one block, Danielle Memmer five kills, five aces, five assists, one block and four digs, Lauren Fife three kills and one block, Brittyn Oliver two kills, two aces, seven assists and three digs, Hannah Oliver two kills, two digs and one ace, McKenna Hufford one kill, two aces and two digs, Paiton George eight digs, Kennedy Garriott and Alli Fadness had five digs each, and Paige Gibson had five aces.
JUNIOR VARSITY VOLLEYBALL
Clinton Central 2, Pioneer 0
Clinton Central topped Pioneer, 2-0, on Monday. Gracie Stewart had 13 assists, five digs and three kills, Abby Jordan nine kills, Aby Unger four kills, Whitney Ridenour four digs, Caitlyn Bradley five digs and Avree Barrett two kills.

Hornet boys win HHC title
The Rossville boys’ cross country team won the Hoosier Heartland Conference title on Friday with 29 points. Carroll (47) was second, Clinton Prairie (69) third and Clinton Central (85) fourth.
Rossville’s Bailey Spear won the county title with a time of 10 minutes, 57 seconds. For the Hornets, Grant Clark was third (11:02), Carson Mills sixth (11:41), Ben Devaney ninth (11:53), Dexter Porsi 10th (12:10), Noah Speer 14th (12:18) and Eric Alling 15th (12:25).
Carroll won the girls’ title with 33 points. Rossville (45) was second, Clinton Prairie third (49) and Tri-Central (107) fourth. For Rossville, Victoria Shedron was fourth (13:16), Julia Malson eighth (13:340, Emma Bright ninth (13:37), Sophia Shedron 10th (14:04), Nicole Nagel 14th (14:25), Catherine Shedron 16th (14:27) and Marissa Heath 18th (14:30).
