Frankfort seniors Amy Scott and Alisa Rutledge have been selected to play in the Second Annual Indiana Elite North vs. South All-Star Softball Challenge at 11 a.m. on June 17 at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis.
Frankfort head coach Brian Wheeler will coach the 3A North juniors on Saturday and then the 3A North seniors on Sunday.
BOYS GOLF
Rossville 159, Sheridan 210
Rossville defeated Sheridan, 159-210, on Tuesday at Angel Hill. Jay Shideler and Austin Miller shared medalist honors with a 39. Chris Yoder shot a 40, and Anthony Zachman and Kaleb Harness each shot 41s. The Hornets finished the regular season with an 11-1 record.
JUNIOR HIGH BASEBALL
Clinton Prairie 10, Faith Christian 4
Clinton Prairie defeated Faith Christian, 10-4, on Tuesday. Kale Morris and Storm Pennington had two hits apiece, with Pennington tallying a triple. Chase Joseph tallied one hit and two RBIs, Grant Ream one hit and one RBI, and Jared Stillwell one hit.
Joseph got the win, allowing four runs on four hits with three strikeouts in three innings. Morris got the save, allowing no runs on no hits with six strikeouts in three innings.
The Gophers are 7-1 on the season.
