The one thing that might have held back Rocky Mount High's girls' soccer team last season has carried over into 2011.
Injuries.
Coach Drew Nick's squad already has had two of its players have possible season-ending injuries, while another, senior forward Allison Raper, has not yet recovered from meniscus and ACL tears she suffered late last season in the Gryphons' run to the second round of the 3-A state playoffs.
