Gainey picked as East-West head coach

GREENSBORO - Rocky Mount head boys basketball coach Mike Gainey has been selected to be the East's boys head coach at next summer's 2010 NCCA East-West All-Star Boys Basketball Game at the Greensboro Coliseum.
The game will be played on Monday, July 19.

His wife, Rocky Mount girls basketball coach Pam Gainey, has also served as a East head girls coach at the event as well as an assistant for the girls team at the Carolinas Classic All-Star Games.
