Gryphon trio makes All-State baseball team

DURHAM - One repeats and two are new to the squad.
That was the case when the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association released its 2009 3-A All-State baseball team Friday.
Making a repeat appearance on the team was senior center fielder Brian Goodwin. Goodwin, along with 2008 grad Jim Leggett, made the team last summer.
This season, Goodwin is joined by two new names: senior catcher Ben Fish and junior pitcher Hobbs Johnson.
