Bangor - The Class D quarterfinals started off with a match-up between the Van Buren Lady Crusaders taking on the Hodgdon Hawks.

Despite junior Parise Rossignol dropping 30 points and sophomore Felisha Bouchard finishing with 10 points it was not enough to beat a tough Hodgdon team. The Hawks won 53-41.

Hodgdon was led by Seniors Mariah Wiley with 19 points and Hailey Gardiner added nine, Jennah Steamer finished with eight points, seniors Laci McQuarrie had seven and went 5-6 from the free throw line, junior Lauren Howell contributed with seven points and senior Mckensie Palmer chipped in with four points.

Hodgdon will face Schenck on Thursday afternoon at 2:05 p.m. for the semifinals.
