New changes made to baseball and softball in Maine. A new indoor training facility has welcomed to the city of Brewer, Maine and will change the sports of baseball and softball in the upcoming years. How much better are players going to be when they get to play 12 months a year?
Sluggers Baseball and Softball Training Facility had an open house on Saturday February 2nd for kids and people to see this great new complex. Sluggers is the finest and most modern indoor youth baseball/softball training facility in Maine.
The complex is located at 60 Acme Road in Brewer, Maine and between Penobscot Ice Arena, Heddericg Baseball Field and Coffin Softball Field. This complex was opened by Darrell Pluard (General Manager).
Sluggers is a state-of-the-art, 9,000 square feet, indoor training center which includes two video-simulated pitching machines, three additional batting/pitching tunnels, Sports Turf infield practice area and a second-floor observation deck for parents, coaches and birthday parties.
Everyone from Sluggers encourages people interested to come visit the new complex. Their staff will be happy to give you a free tour and demonstration of the facility and the services they have to offer! Anyone can come and use the facility one time for free.
Sluggers has assembled an All Star lineup of some of the best baseball and softball minds ever brought under one program in Maine. With over 350 years of combined playing and coaching experience, this team of coaches and one-on-one instructors is what sets Sluggers apart from any other program in the state.
