Stearns girls ready for another successful season

Bangor - The Stearns Minutemen girls basketball team has a mixture of players with inexperience and experience, so the more the games they play the better they will become. Head basketball coach Justin Page is confident with the experienced players they have his team can build around the core of players he has on the team.

Stearns returns Taylor Palkey, who is a force down low and will be a huge factor for the Minutemen this season. Shooting guard Alex Mooney and point guard Emily Wark, who all need to play well if Streans wants to have success this year.

I talked to coach Page about the upcoming season during a game at a preseason tournament in Bangor this past weekend. Page said he has a good start with three starters returning, but they have a lot of work to do to get ready for the season.
