Home » Boys' Basketball NewsJohn Bapst boys excited to improve from last seasonDecember 2, 2012 By Ryan Kimball of RK Sports Productions(Watch video interview at the end of story with John Bapst boys coach) Bangor - The John Bapst Crusaders boys basketball team struggled last season, but they have more talent this season, which should help them win more games. The Crusaders have a mixture of size, speed and athleticism with the ability to knock down shoots, which wil help them be more successful then last year. Rick Sinclair's club has some leadership in Andrew Gatchell, who can score inside and out helping the Crusaders spread the floor out this year. Despite the fact class "B" is the toughest in the state, John Bapst is confident they can compete, play hard and defend every night. I talked to coach Sinclair about the season and he believes they have more talent then last year. Coach Sinclair said they have the ability to spread the floor out and will need to play their best every night.
