Cosby and Edwin lead Seton Hall to blowout win over Maine

Newark, N.J. - Sophomore Aaron Cosby scored a game high 19 points to lead the Seton Hall Pirates to a blowout win over the University of Maine Black Bears 76-49 at the Prudential Center on Wednesday night.
The turnover issue for Maine continued to be a problem giving the ball away 27 times for 33 Seton Hall points.
The pirates had three scorers in double figures. Fuguan Edwin scored 15 points, six rebounds and a career high six steals. Brian Oliver added 10 points, Patrik Auda and Eugene Teague each scored eight and Kyle Smyth chipped in with six. Other scorers were Kevin Johnson with five, Haralds Karlis with three and Freddie Wilson added two points.
Maine was lead by Sophomore guard Justin Edwards scoring a team high 18 points and five assits. Alasdair Fraser added 13 points and eight rebounds and Mike Allision scored five points and nine rebounds to lead the team. Other scorers were Jon Mesghna and Xavier Pollard with four, Leon Cooper added three and Jon McAllian chipped in with two.
The Pirates shot 47 percent (30-64) from the floor and 33 percent (9-27) from the three-point line. Seton Hall shot 47 percent (7-15) from the charity stripe.
The Black Bears shot 35 percent (18-51) from the field and six percent (1-17) from the three point line. Maine shot 60 percent (12-20) from the free-throw line.
Seton Hall improved to 4-1, while the Black Bears fell to 0-4 on the season.
